Ogun Govt Dissolves OSOMS, OGSPAM leadership team, says ban on NURTW activities in the state still stands
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has directed the dissolution of Ogun State Operations Management & Ogun State Park Management Services leadership in the state from 12th Dec. 2023.
According to a letter signed by the Commissioner of Transportation, Engineer Gbenga Dairo, the governor’s directives was in view of his administration to further reposition the transportation sector for effective and efficient service delivery.
The letter reads in part ” Following the meeting held with the Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, consultant to the Governor on security abd the Ogun State internal Revenue Team (OGIRS) on the 12th of November, 2023 on issues surrounding Parks and Garages.
Please note the following as regards observed union activities wuthinythe Parks and Garages OGSPAM working weeks:
1. Security Agency had earlier called the leaders of OGSPAM and OSOMS for a meeting and advised them to wait for the dissolution of the present Excos on 12th of December, 2023 abd conduct fresh leadership elections in line with it’s constitution.
2. NURTW activities are in Parks and Garages yet to be authorized by the Excellency, the Governor of Ogun State.
