Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has announced the release of funds for the payment of gratuities to Ogun State Retirees.
The State Governor in a statement on Monday, said With this payment, his administration is poised to ensure that sweats and labours of Ogun pensioners did not go in vain.
He noted that the government is presently paying those who retired in February 2013 for both Teachers and Local Government Retirees.

Abiodun added that his administration had earlier paid gratuities of those workers who retired in 2009 and 2010.
Recall that Pensioners in Ogun State had appealed to the Governor to increase the quarterly gratuity payment in order to offset the outstanding gratuities.
