OGUN COMM. FOR CULTURE, “HON. ADIJAT” FELICITATES WITH OLOFIN OF ISHERI ON FIRST CORONATION ANNIVERSARY
The Ogun State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo has felicitated with the Olofin of Isheri Awori Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Sulaiman Adekunle Bamgbade on his first year anniversary on the throne of his forebears.
The Commissioner in a congratulatory message lauded the monarch’s exemplary leadership style and simplicity which has brought tremendous developments to his domain since assumption of office a year ago.
She prayed to Almighty God to continue to strengthen the frontline monarch for the good of his subjects and humanity in general.
The Ogun Ex-lawmaker wrotes, ” Kabiyesi, I am more impressed with your finesse, large-heartedness and your passion for everything that brings succour to the people. These fine qualities reaffirmed the confidence your people had reposed in you when crowning you as the king.
” Oba Sulaiman Adekunle Bamgbade has demonstrated exemplary leadership by living above board, while remaining as the rallying point and inspiration for his subjects.
As a custodian of culture and tradition, the Adimula of Awori Land has played significant roles in the promotion of harmony, socio-cultural cooperation, communal living and peaceful co-existence among the people, including other ethnic groups outside his domain.
“Kabiyesi, I rejoice with you today and always as you witness another auspicious moment on the throne. May Almighty God grant you sound health and absolute wisdom on the throne in order to achieve more for the people and humanity at large”.
