Late Odeh : O’kenny condemns killing of mapoly beauty queen, wants security operatives, govt to rise up to stem the trend of incessant killing in ogun


The House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for Odeda State Constituency in Ogun State, Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde popularly known as O’kenny has unequivocal condemned the killing of a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Mapoly, Abeokuta, Miss Happiness Odeh, who was abducted a few days ago after her lifeless body was found.
The mass communication student was said to have been abducted along Iperu Road, while on her way to a movie set.
The PDP house of Assembly candidate in a statement by his media aide, on Monday in Abeokuta described the death of Miss Odeh has one too many, calling on security agencies and the State government to put all possible action into conducting a speedy investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
While berating the state government for it ineptitude towards the safety of lives and properties of the people, He urged community and religious leaders to ”speak more forcefully against killings if innocent souls particularly those who are supposed to be future leaders just like late Happiness Odeh.
Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde offered his condolences to the family of the deceased, the entire Mapoly community and prayed that may God rest the soul of the departed.
