How Oginni Duped Me Of N20,000 In Ogun-Victim, Babatunde
The embattled chairman of League of Registered Political Parties in Ogun state, Comrade Olaposi Oginni has been alleged of duping Olumide Babatunde, 25, of the sum of twenty thousand Naira to give rooms and arrange sex workers.
According to Babatunde Olumide while speaking with Amebo correspondent on Abeokuta today
It was gathered that Oginni  approached Big World Hotel and Bar hotel situated at Ikereku-Idan area of Abeokuta shortly before his birthday where he met staff of the hotel to get accommodation for four of his friends at the rate of 5,000 each and the attendant told him to meet the managing director (Olaposi Oginni) and they negotiated the mode of payment.
Olumide said  ”I approached the managing director (Olaposi Oginni) and he asked me how I’ll pay the 20,000 and I told him I’ll drop 10,000 that day to show commitment and he asked me to drop my number, a week after he called me to collect the remaining 10,000 at Mango Adigbe area but to my surprise the service wasn’t rendered and I demand for refund which he never show any sign of refunding my money, I told my friends and we started looking for Olaposi Oginni, we have approached the hotel times without number but the attendant will always tell us he is not around…” Said Olumide Babatunde
He also said he was informed about a meeting which is supposed to hold yesterday by 12noon and he swept to action by targeting Olaposi Oginni and immediately he sighted him he went to inform the officers at Adigbe police station to arrest him.
When contacted the officers of Adigbe police station who lead the patrol ( name witheld) he said when he got to the hotel yesterday to invite Olaposi Oginni to the station he pleaded that he has many engagement before him but will appear by 10am today for further interrogation but before we file our report Olaposi Oginni is yet to honor police invitation.
Meanwhile, our correspondent put a call through to Comrade Olaposi Oginni to get his reaction where he denied such incident, he said he is presently at his house in Ilaro that he is not aware of any police invitation.
“I am presently in my house in Ilaro and I can assure you such thing happened in my hotel yesterday, I have gotten calls too from people to confirm the authenticity of the news, I am suspecting the state government who has been flouting social distancing regulation by giving people 2,500 palliative on Oke-mosan, and as a comrade I must fight for the people who are voiceless.” Oginni reacted.
