2023 : Olumide Osoba declares to run,ready to further put his constituency on the path of sustainable growth
Ahead of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Primaries, a frontline aspirant and current member of the House of representatives, representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/ Odeda Federal Constituency in Ogun state, Rt. Hon. Olumide Osoba has reiterated that if given the chance once again in the coming elections, his campaign and eventual mandate will be hinged on the cardinal areas of development as yearned for by the people of his constituency.
Hon. Olumide re-echoed this promise on Wednesday during a Consultative meeting with the party leaders and members domiciled in the three local government areas that made up of his federal constituency, namely Abeokuta North, Obafemi-Owode and Odeda LGA
At the meeting, the federal lawmaker officially declared his intention to contest for the green chamber in the 2023 general elections, a development that was well accepted by APC leaders and members present.
He pledged more support to the party progress and state government, by facilitating more developmental Projects to the constituency
Hon. Olumide noted that his aspiration is born out of deep responsibility to the people, which is also encouraged by the populist political ideology of the APC founding fathers.
While appreciating the support recieved from his people so far as well as that of the Party leaders, Hon. Olumide said his political movement has been the people’s drive from day one and its success is entirely their story.
He promised that if given the mandate he is ready to continue to preserve the ideology of the populist government of the APC by putting premium on the people’s welfare while he represents the interest of his constituency at the National Assembly.
