Lai Mohammed’s Son, Folajimi Loses Third Term Ticket To Former Councillor

The son of Minister of Information and Culture and current member representing Ikeja State Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Folajimi Mohammed has lost his bid to represent the constituency for the third consecutive term.

Honourable Mohammed lost at the primary election conducted to pick the flagbearer of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday, 27 May, 2022

Interestingly he lost to former Councillor and one time Legislative Leader of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Seyi Lawal. At the primary election, Seyi Lawal polled 15 of the delegates votes while Folajimi could only muster nine votes.
