Arise Kwara Group Backs Continuity in Kwara, Mobilises Support for Tinubu Ahead of 2027
The Arise Kwara Group (AKG), a people-oriented socio-political movement founded to promote unity, good governance and sustainable development in Kwara State, has declared its commitment to preserving the developmental strides of the current administration while mobilising massive grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
Speaking on the vision of the movement, the Convener of Arise Kwara Group, Hon. Ibrahim Kehinde Magaji, said the organisation was established to unite Kwarans across political, ethnic and religious divides in pursuit of a common objective of building a more prosperous, peaceful and economically vibrant state.
Hon. Ibrahim Kehinde Magaji explained that the group believes the achievements recorded by the present administration in Kwara State should not be abandoned but consolidated through the emergence of a credible, competent and progressive successor who will continue the ongoing developmental programmes and policies for the benefit of all citizens.
According to him, Arise Kwara Group is determined to work with political leaders, traditional rulers, community stakeholders, professionals, youths, women and members of the diaspora to ensure continuity of good governance, accelerated infrastructure development, improved education, quality healthcare, youth and women empowerment, job creation and sustainable economic growth across the state.
The Convener further disclosed that the movement has also resolved to play a strategic role in the re-election campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that members of the group would embark on aggressive grassroots mobilisation across the sixteen local government areas of Kwara State to ensure the President secures an overwhelming mandate in 2027.
Hon. Ibrahim Kehinde Magaji added that the group’s ultimate goal is to ensure that Kwara State delivers one of the highest votes for President Tinubu in the North Central geopolitical zone, describing the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a foundation for long-term economic transformation, infrastructure development and national prosperity.
He noted that the movement is convinced that continuity of progressive governance at both the state and federal levels would strengthen ongoing reforms, improve investment opportunities, expand economic activities and enhance the overall well-being of Nigerians.
Beyond politics, the Convener said Arise Kwara Group would champion programmes aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, quality education, environmental sustainability, community development, volunteerism, civic participation and private sector investment while collaborating with government institutions, development partners, traditional institutions, religious organisations and civil society groups.
Hon. Ibrahim Kehinde Magaji emphasised that the activities of the movement would continue to be guided by the principles of unity, integrity, accountability, transparency, excellence, inclusiveness, patriotism, innovation and compassionate service to humanity.
He called on progressive-minded Kwarans, both at home and in the diaspora, to join the movement and contribute meaningfully to building a stronger, united and globally competitive Kwara State, insisting that sustainable development can only be achieved when citizens work together with a shared vision and collective responsibility.
The Arise Kwara Group reaffirmed its resolve to preserve the gains already recorded in Kwara State while laying stronger foundations for future generations, maintaining that unity, selfless service and visionary leadership remain the pillars for achieving lasting development.
