APC Stakeholders’ Meeting: SA on Public and Intergovernmental Relations Applauds Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Inclusive Leadership and Commitment to Party Unity
The Special Adviser to the Governor of Ondo State on Public and Intergovernmental Relations (PIR), Hon. Princess Kilelomo Ikuomola, has lauded His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his exemplary leadership and statesmanlike resolve to promote consensus-building in the selection of candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections. The Governor made this known during the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting.
Hon. Ikuomola described the Governor’s position as a clear reflection of political maturity, respect for internal democracy, and a deep commitment to strengthening unity and cohesion within the party. She noted that consensus-driven processes have consistently proven to be effective tools for fostering harmony, minimizing internal disputes, and enhancing electoral success.
According to the Special Adviser, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s approach underscores his appreciation of the importance of inclusiveness, constructive engagement, and collective responsibility in shaping the future of the APC in Ondo State. She emphasized that the Governor remains committed to ensuring that all critical stakeholders—party leaders, aspirants, and grassroots members—are fully involved and carried along in the party’s decision-making processes.
“The Governor’s call for consensus is a proactive and strategic move aimed at sustaining peace within the party, strengthening mutual respect among stakeholders, and positioning the APC in Ondo State for a resounding victory in 2027,” the statement read.
The Office of the Special Adviser further expressed unwavering confidence in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, highlighting his steadfast commitment to democratic values, transparency, fairness, and accountable governance. It added that the Governor’s administration remains firmly focused on delivering impactful development, inclusive growth, and improved welfare for the people of Ondo State.
Hon. Princess Kilelomo Ikuomola also urged party leaders and members across the state to embrace dialogue, unity, and cooperation, and to rally behind the Governor’s vision of building a stronger, more united, and forward-looking APC in Ondo State.
