The aspirants noted that the endorsement was from some set of shallow one sided leaders of the ward who were money glutton.

The statement reads partly, “contrary to this order, the set of shallow one-sided leaders of ward 08 Abeokuta South has decided to go against the supreme order of the party and failed to call every concerned aspirant to do the needful inorder to reach a final solution but only did endorsement for a candidate named Oluseyi Sodiya one among the aspirant(instead of rectifying).

“Surprisingly, it’s not new to us as every member of Ward 08 Abeokuta South believed that ward 08 Chairman Alhaji Sokunbi Mukaila and both Rasheed Kolawole known as Rento, Jemilat Balogun respectively are behind this inappropriate actions and this actions was based on the money collected from the aspirant Oluseyi Sodiya”.they said

“In Addition, All other aspirants like Adeboye Temitope David, Mutiu Omidiyi, Ayinde Semiu and Tosin Kayode including both members, elders and leaders of ward 08 have unanimously say “NO” and denied this shallow rectification and endorsement done by the glutton leaders.

“Moreover, it is very important to state the reasons why all ward 08 Abeokuta south stood their stand and strongly disagree that oluseyi Sodiya is not a member of this region, he is not an indigene of this state. He has never voted or exercised franchise, he is not a tenant, landlord or shop owner.

“Oluseyi Sodiya is a hooligan, terror fraudster and high rank cultist member.
We hereby implore all appropriate law enforcement agencies to please look into this and investigate him further.

“Alhaji Sokunbi Mukaila, Rasheed, Kolawole and Jemilat Balogun has collected huge amount of money (5 million naira) from the aspirant Oluseyi Sodiya because he want to use the avenue to buy them as he is from Osun state

“Also,Oluseyi Sodiya has once said “he want to use the ticket slot as an opportunity to cover his trailings and abscond because of his case from police authority”.

The aspirants called for a lasting solution to the crises.

” In reference to the above grievience, Ward 08 Abeokuta South cries out to the leaders to look into this matter as soon as possible and also find a lasting solution to this crisis as this could generate to another level of problems, we hereby await your truthful justice”, they noted.

Sodiya noted, “the three of them has asked me to give them one million per person, saying that they wanted to use it to settle LAPO money that they collected so I didn’t give them because I don’t know how to get it since the they have been blackmailing me.

“I am from Oke-Ejigbo, Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun state. I am not from Osun State, they are Just blackmailing me for no reason.
