The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agege Constituency 01 has intensified its grassroots mobilisation activities as Hon. Oluwagbenga Abiola Agbelebu met with zonal coordinators and street captains to strengthen community-level engagement ahead of the elections.
The meeting formed part of ongoing efforts to deepen the party’s presence across neighbourhoods and improve direct communication between its campaign structure and residents in the constituency.
Agbelebu urged the coordinators and street captains to increase door-to-door mobilisation, stressing the importance of maintaining regular contact with residents and ensuring that information about the party’s candidates and programmes reaches voters at the grassroots.
He said effective political mobilisation requires more than large gatherings, urging the campaign team to engage residents directly, listen to their concerns and communicate the positions and programmes of APC candidates in a clear and responsible manner.
The APC grassroots structure in Agege Constituency 01 is expected to play a significant role in coordinating voter engagement across different zones and streets. The latest meeting provided an opportunity for coordinators and street captains to review their responsibilities and strengthen communication within their respective areas.
Agbelebu also emphasised the need for unity, discipline and effective coordination among members of the mobilisation team, noting that sustained grassroots engagement would help the party maintain contact with communities throughout the election period.
The mobilisation campaign is supporting APC candidates, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Dr. Idiat Adebule and other party candidates contesting elections in Agege.
The renewed door-to-door strategy signals a greater emphasis on constituency-level political engagement, with party organisers seeking to take campaign conversations directly to homes, streets and communities rather than relying solely on rallies and large public events.
As election activities gather momentum, the APC campaign structure in Agege is expected to continue expanding its grassroots engagement through zonal coordinators, street captains and other community-based organisers.
