From grass to stardom: The story of Nigerian US based hip hop musician, Prince Choi
The quote that ‘success is the combination of destiny and hardwork’ is exactly the life of a Nigerian born Musician, Prince Ademola Adeleke popularly called Prince Choi. He is one of the few that started from nothing to become what they are today in the entertainment industry.
Prince Ademola Adeleke’s story is that of a man who started from nothing, that is from grass to grace. He is ever committed, hardworking, dedicated and always hunger for success and here he is making waves in the entertainment industry with his kind of music which is always appealing to the ear.
Prince Choi as he is known by his stage name was born in Ibadan, the state capital of Oyo state about three decades ago. He stsrted his elementary and secondary education in Ibadan before he proceeded to Federal College of Education ( special), Oyo where he learnt to read braille for the visually impaired and sing language for the hearing impaired; his major computer education.
Prince Choi has never lived the life of a prince despite being one, he struggle to get to where he is today. After his struggle at the College of Education, Prince Adeleke attended a school for secretarial studies in Ijebu-Ode and move to Lagos computer college where he obtained diploma in computer science. His passion for education took him to Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso where he studied animal production and health.
Prince father came from Ilaoragun, Osun state , while his mother came from Ile-Ife from Oloshi family. His mother was from Oba Adeyeye Ademakinwa Oloshi of ife and Prince Choi relate with present Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan.
After all these struggles, Prince Choi begin to dedicate all his efforts on his musical career despite the obstacle he faced at the beginning. He was dedicated and committed to ensuring he become somebody in the entertainment industry. He has so many tracks to his record; he has featured many popular artistes. Currently this Nigeria born prince live in United States of America where he is making waves as one of the few Nigerians out there with such rare talent. If not for the current pandemic across the world, Prince Choi supposed to be on his world tour to different countries.
