APC Leaders, Residents Hail Hon. Temitope Olukoya’s Scorecard at Ward E Assessment in Orile-Agege



ORILE-AGEGE, Lagos – Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), traditional rulers, community leaders, and residents of Ward E in Orile-Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have commended the Councillor representing the ward, Hon. Temitope Aminat Tele Olukoya, for what they described as an impressive performance in office.
The commendation came during the Ward E Scorecard Assessment and Celebration, where stakeholders gathered to review the councillor’s achievements, assess her performance, and reaffirm their support for her leadership.
The event attracted prominent APC leaders, government officials, traditional rulers, community development associations, market leaders, youth groups, religious leaders, artisans, transport unions, and residents, who praised Olukoya for her commitment to grassroots development and responsive representation.
In her address, Hon. Olukoya expressed gratitude to the people of Ward E for the confidence reposed in her, assuring them that she would continue to serve with integrity, transparency, and accountability. She described the gathering as an opportunity to review achievements, receive constructive feedback, and strengthen the partnership between the people and their elected representatives.
The councillor highlighted several projects and initiatives executed within the ward, including the completion of the interlocking road on Moses Street and the approval of the School Road/Adebeshin Street road and drainage project, which is expected to commence soon.
She also noted that pupils in public primary schools across the ward benefited from the distribution of exercise books and writing materials, while desks and benches were approved for schools within the LCDA. She added that several students received free GCE and JAMB forms through the educational intervention programme of the Executive Chairman of Orile-Agege LCDA.
According to her, the administration has also prioritised the welfare of vulnerable residents through monthly food support and ₦100,000 empowerment grants for widows, widowers, and elderly citizens under the initiative of the First Lady of Orile-Agege LCDA, Mrs. Fatima Adebukola Idowu.
On infrastructure and security, Olukoya disclosed that solar-powered street lights have been approved for installation in strategic locations across Ward E to enhance security, while the Legislative Arm successfully moved a motion for the urgent desilting of drainage channels to reduce flooding and improve environmental sanitation.
She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting youth development, community-based organisations, environmental sanitation programmes, and other initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of residents.
The event was marked by goodwill messages from APC stalwarts, party executives, community leaders, and stakeholders, who unanimously applauded the councillor’s scorecard and described her as a dedicated grassroots leader committed to delivering the dividends of democracy.
Many of the speakers praised her accessibility, people-centred approach, and commitment to community development, expressing confidence in her ability to sustain the pace of development in Ward E.
Hon. Olukoya also used the occasion to appreciate the Executive Chairman of Orile-Agege LCDA, Hon. Akinola Idowu, for his leadership and unwavering support, as well as her political mentor, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, whom she described as a visionary leader whose guidance continues to inspire her public service.
She equally thanked the APC leadership, traditional rulers, religious leaders, Community Development Associations (CDAs), market associations, NURTW members, artisans, youths, women groups, the Ndigbo community, and residents of Ward E for their continued support and encouragement.
The councillor also acknowledged the contributions of media organisations, including Likinyo Media, Osholana Media, Palm Media Concept, Orile-Agege Media, Signature Media, Dove Media, and Agege TV, for providing extensive coverage of the event.
She concluded by reaffirming her commitment to quality representation, promising to continue working with all stakeholders to build a safer, cleaner, more united, and prosperous Ward E.
