Abuja Breakfast Club Expands, Reiterates Commitment to Education, Charity At AGM

The Abuja Breakfast Club, a dynamic social club made up of like-minded individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, has come a long way since its humble beginnings.
Formed over a decade ago, the club started as a simple gathering of friends enjoying casual sit-outs. What began “like child’s play” — a small circle of less than ten friends — has grown into a strong, organized association that now boasts its own clubhouse in a prime location at the heart of Abuja.
Despite their growth, the club’s members remain grounded in their purpose. They see their mission as far more than socializing or sharing drinks; they are united by a commitment to giving back to society. Community service has become one of the key pillars that defines the Abuja Breakfast Club.
On December 6th, 2025, the club held its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM). As part of the day’s activities, the President, Engr. Philip Okpanefe, led members of the club on a compassionate visit to Mother Theresa Motherless Babies Home in Gwarimpa. The members shared gifts with the children, spending meaningful time with them and spreading joy throughout the home.
This gesture continues a tradition of impactful outreach. Last year, the Abuja Breakfast Club donated notebooks to schools, demonstrating their ongoing dedication to community development and educational support.
With over ten years of existence and eight successful AGMs, the Abuja Breakfast Club stands as a testament to what friendship, unity, and purpose can build — a legacy marked by service, growth, and positive impact on the society.
