Ondo Hotel Boss Adesoji Adeleye Stabbed to Death at Home in Chilling Assassination
The city of Akure, Ondo State, was thrown into mourning on Tuesday following the shocking assassination of Adesoji Johnson Adeleye, the Chief Executive Officer of Klass Five Hotel.
Adeleye was reportedly murdered in the early hours of the morning at his private residence in the Arakale area of the state capital. According to a close friend who requested anonymity, the two had spent time together the previous evening before parting ways—unaware that it would be their last meeting.
“He was attacked in his sleep and stabbed multiple times. It was brutal,” the friend recounted.
The Ondo State Police Command has since confirmed the incident. Police spokesperson, SP Alexander Olayinka, stated that the case has been escalated to the state headquarters for a discreet and thorough investigation.
“We are committed to uncovering those behind this heinous act. The investigation is now under the direct supervision of the state command,” Olayinka said.
The motive behind the gruesome killing remains unknown as residents of Akure express shock and demand justice. Adeleye was well known in the hospitality industry and his death has left friends, associates, and community members devastated.
As police intensify efforts to track down the perpetrators, security presence around the Arakale area has reportedly increased.
