Man City crowned Champion of Europe as Rodri solitary goal captures Europe for the first time


Manchester City, Saturday night beat Italian giants Inter Milan 1- 0 to win their first-ever Champions League trophy in the history of the club.
The Nigeria Standard reports that ‘Man City’ won the trophy through Rodrigo Hernández’s 66th-minute strike.
Rodrigo’s goal secured the victory on a glorious night for the football club that saw scenes of jubilation among the City supporters inside the Ataturk Stadium and across the world.
It was further reports that Manchester’s victory over Inter Millan completes a historic Treble, with the European crown added to the Premier League and FA Cup successes of Man City.
The Premier League title has been claimed for the fifth time in six years, while Manchester City beat Manchester United at Wembley last weekend to lift the FA Cup.
