Democracy Day : NATCOM DG, Amb. Adegbenro Congratulates Nigerians, sees hope for a better Nation with President Tinubu
As Nigerians celebrates Democracy Day which signifies the sustenance of her sovereignty as a Nation, the Acting Director General of the National Commission for the Coordination and Control of the Proliferation of Small Arms, Ammunition, Light Weapons, Chemical Weapons, and Pipeline Vandalism (NATCOM), Amb. Otunba Adejare Rewane Adegbenro has congratulated the people and government of Nigeria for yet another milestone achievement, saying there is every reason to celebrate even in the face of daunting challenges confronting the Nation.
The DG NATCOM stated this in his congratulatory message commemorating this year’s Democracy Day celebration.
Amb. Adegbenro Adejare expressed happiness in the resilience of the people to build a better nation adding that it is a celebration of freedom, “a salute to the resilience and determination of Nigerians and a recommitment by new Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to keep its promise to lead Nigeria into a new era of justice and prosperity.
“I want to congratulate my fellow Nigerians, I join you all today to commemorate and celebrate our Democracy Day, It is a celebration of freedom and a victory for one people, one country and one Nigeria, let’s not let the death of those that strive for Nigeria to transit from Military rule to civilian administration such as Late MKO Abiola go in vain.
“I want to encourage us all to come together, unite as a Nation, let’s fight together against corruption, sinister activities, sabotage of good policies and terrorism. Let’s all fight to make our country better”
“This is the day when we remember the years before and look at the possibilities before us in order to strive for an even better future. We should remember not to leave the faith of our country in the hands of our leaders alone, as it is the responsibility of everyone to make it greater,Let us have faith in Nigeria and I wish you happy Democracy Day”, He said.
