2023 : Ogun Renowned traditionalist, Ifagbohunmi Empire charges Nigerians to vote Credible leaders
Few weeks to the 2023 general elections, the Founder and Chief Priest of Ifagbohunmi Empire, thriving traditional solution centre in Ogun State, Chief Olayode Ifadola Ifagbohunmi has encouraged Nigerians to evolve a standard process of electing not only eligible candidates but also patriotic ones.
In a message released through his social media handles, the Ifa Priest noted that the eligibility criteria for leadership are too general to the extent that unsuitable people ultimately get elected to the positions of authority and put the country in further ruins.
“As Nigerians our unique strengths and characters to overcome our challenges collectively have never been in doubt, what we need now more than ever is to galvanise these unique qualities for the good of all as permissible under a democratic set up.”
“ As we like up to vote in the next month presidential election, it is important that we re-awaken our subconscious minds and identify that there is an urgent need to raise the bar of leadership in Nigeria beyond basic qualifications which has been the practice over the years”
“Also I want to encourage my fellow Nigerian youths to be resolute and keep faith with the project Nigeria as we have no where else to go to but we must join hands our leaders to change the Narratives for the sake of our collective future”he said.
