2027: APC Professional Council Boss, Adenekan, Rallies Ward Members Support For Senator Yayi

The Director-General of the APC Professional Council in Ogun State and Special Adviser, Hon. Dr. Bayo Adenekan, has intensified grassroots mobilisation for the party and its candidates ahead of the 2027 elections with a cash grant to members of Ward 4 in Abeokuta South Local Government Area.
Adenekan, during an engagement with members of the party in Saje community, distributed N10,000 each to 50 beneficiaries, as part of efforts to provide immediate financial support to grassroots members and strengthen the party’s presence at the ward level.
The initiative, according to the organisers, is part of a broader grassroots intervention designed to complement ongoing government programmes and deepen engagement between the party and the electorate.
It followed the earlier disbursement of N500,000 grants to Community Development Associations (CDAs) to support micro-projects under government incentive programmes in their respective communities.
Adenekan said the combination of structured support for community development projects and direct assistance to individuals was aimed at addressing both community-level needs and immediate household challenges.
The initiative has also been positioned as part of the APC Professional Council’s ongoing mobilisation drive across Abeokuta South, particularly Ward 4, in support of the party’s candidates, including the APC governorship candidate, Senator Adeola Olamilekan Yayi, and other candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
The organisers said the intervention demonstrates the Council’s commitment to translating its professional and political engagement into tangible benefits for residents at the grassroots.
They added that the mobilisation would continue across the local government, with further engagements and empowerment initiatives expected in the coming months.
The initiative, carried out on behalf of the APC Professionals, is expected to further strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and consolidate support for the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
