The All Progressives Congress Youth League, Odeda local government chapter has applauded the efforts of the state government under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun for the construction of roads and other projects, which had been sources of nightmare for the people of the local government.
The youth group said the multifaceted achievements of Abiodun which includes renovation of schools across, Fajol-Osara-Gbonagun Road Construction , upgrading of Primary health centers, organising of anchor borrowers program in the last one year at the helms of affairs had shown that the local government occupied a special place in the agenda of building our future together.
Coordinator of the group, Mr. Olufemi Oguntade, made the clarification while fielding questions from reporters during the governor’s inspection tour of Fajol-Osara-Gbonagun Road.
He said ”We thank His Excellency for choosing our local government as the model of development. In the history of our state, no government has given us this much infrastructure such that your administration is giving in less than 2years. This is a sign that Odeda has a special place in your agenda of building our future together.
”His Excellency has been a great source of Hope and inspiration to our teeming youths. Your peaceful disposition to governance, inclusion of high numbers of young minds in your administration is a pointer to the fact that you believe so much in the future of Ogun youths.
”’Odeda Local Government has always been ready to support your administration Agricultural, Human Capital Development and ICT revolution in such a way that our young people can benefit more.
”As Oliver Twist sir, we plead with you to use your good office to assist us in fixing Asero-Obantoko road. This road is the only major road that connect our LGA to the state capital.
”We will also like to use this opportunity to pass vote of confidence on our leaders,the teeming youths of Odeda Local Government look up to them as role models.
”We also use this medium to reiterate our support to all leaders across ten wards of the local government.
The group also commended the State APC chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, Chief of Staff to the governor, Alhaji Shuaib Salisu Omoyayi , former Ogun central Senator, Senator Olugbenga Obadara ,the Chairman, House committee on transport at Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon Daisi Elemide and Chairman,transition committee of Odeda Local government, Alhaji. Semiu Bola Lawal for their visionary and exemplary leadership styles in moving the Local government to greater height.
