Hon. (Amb.) Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi Felicitates with Muslims and Christians in Fasting Season, Calls for Prayers for Nigeria
The Senatorial Aspirant for Ogun Central Senatorial District, Hon. (Amb.) Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi, has extended his warm felicitation to Muslim and Christian faithful across Ogun Central who are currently observing their sacred fasting periods.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Dr. Talabi commended the devotion, discipline, and spiritual commitment demonstrated by both faith communities during this solemn season. He noted that fasting is not only a time of personal reflection and spiritual renewal but also a unique opportunity to intercede for the peace and progress of the land.
He urged the good people of Ogun Central Senatorial District to dedicate part of their quiet moments during the fasting period to pray earnestly for Nigeria, Ogun State, and their respective communities. According to him, “Our nation is in need of sincere prayers now more than ever. As we seek divine mercy and blessings individually, let us also lift our country before God for stability in our economy, lasting peace, and an end to insecurity in our land.”
Hon. (Amb.) Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi emphasized that unity of purpose, regardless of religious differences, remains a strong pillar for development. He encouraged both Muslims and Christians to continue to live in harmony, promote tolerance, and strengthen the bonds of love that have long defined Ogun Central.
“As we fast and pray, may our sacrifices bring healing to our nation, restoration to our economy, security to our communities, and renewed hope to our people,” he added.
