O’kenny candidacy receives major boosts as Ajumbu constituents in Odeda LGA endorses him for OGHA in 2023
The House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for Odeda State Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde popularly known as O’kenny has engaged members of his constituency in a strategic meeting to position the party for resounding victory across all elective positions in Ogun state ahead of the campaign and the general elections proper.
The entourage led by the PDP chairman in Odeda Local Government area, Hon. Jide Yunusa, the candidate himself and other party stalwarts first port of call was Ajumbu Olope area, a community comprising of twelve (12) Community Development Associations located at Bode-Olude, Elega in Odeda local Government Area of Ogun state where O’kenny berated the bad state of the road that leads into the community.
Addressing the people the people the OGHA candidate promised that if elected, his schedule of programmes aside of making life changing laws would center on bring succour to communities that has not felt the presence of government in years past by providing for them all amenities capable of making life better for them.
In their separate submissions, Hon. Jide Yunusa and other party Leaders encouraged people of the area to get their permanent voter cards ready and vote out a party that has continue to subject them to untold hardship, noting that only the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has the solution to the Nation’s problems.
Speaking on behalf of the community, the overall chairman, Otunba Oladapo Ayoola emphasized the need for rapid development of their communities and as well promised that having tested the opposition party and discovered that they are not alive to their plights, they have decided to pitch their tent with the PDP in 2023.
He assured the delegation that O’kenny House of Assembly ambition has been sealed and stamped based on his pedigree and antecedents and they have absolute trust in him to deliver.
The meeting was part of the engagement process towards actualizing victory for Hon. odewunmi Kehinde and other party candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
