Senator Yayi Trains Another 200 Teachers, Civil Servants On ICT, Donates Laptops, Cash

The senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, has trained and empowered 200 teachers and civil servants in Ogun State.
Senator Adeola facilitated the training in collaboration with Centre for Management Development in conjunction with Sahar Continental Limited and Young Thinkers Limited.
Teachers and Civil Servants drawn from different sectors and selected locations across Ogun State gathered for three days of intensive training at the Asade Agunloye Pavillion, Ilaro, and were lectured on ‘Electronic Documentation for Teachers and Efficient Record Management for Civil Servants’.
The training was crowned with an empowerment programme, which took place on Monday 23rd December, 2024.
Senator Adeola Yayi, who was represented at the empowerment programme, highlighted the importance of the training.
The distinguished Senator who was represented by the Federal Commissioner stressed the need for teachers and civil servants to be updated in the processes of documentation and management of records to reduce the cumbersome practices of keeping teaching notes and official information management.
The participants were also empowered with brand new laptops, and cash support of N100,000.
Seven participants, who spoke to newsmen passed their vote of confidence on the capacity of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi not just on human capacity development but in several areas especially in the provision of infrastructure across Ogun West generally.
