Queen Elizabeth II : Tola Banjo joins world leaders to pay glowing tributes to Britain’s departed monarchy


A Former Deputy Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo has described as impactful and service to Humanity the life and times of Her Majesty, the queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II who bade the world farewell On Thursday.
Paying tributes to Britain’s longest-serving monarch who died at 96 on his social media handles, the ex-lawmaker described her as a “reassuring presence throughout decades of positive and sustainable change, including the decolonization of Africa, Asia ad well as the evolution of the Commonwealth.”
“Queen Elizabeth would be remembered as a friend of Nigeria, a kind-hearted queen who left a lasting impression on her country and generations yet unborn, an extraordinary leader who lived a remarkable life”, he said.
Queen Elizabeth II died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
