The name Otunba Wale Adesina might not ring bell to you but when you hear “Wale Saranda,” you know that name because it is a household name synonymous with philanthropic act.
Otunba Wale Saranda as he is popularly called, is a silent philanthropist with a large heart who has been helping the poor and the needy for over three decades and he does not like making noise about it.
Saranda, a major player in the mining industry is one of the good Nigerians who has been committed to putting smile on people’s faces through his various philanthropic gestures.
This humble business mogul is never tired of helping and lifting people from poverty. Those who know him very well say, there was never a time you approach Saranda for help and he turns you down.
The Chief Executive Officer of Western Quarry, one of the biggest quarries in Nigeria is also in the business of sharing joy and happiness, touching every life with his philanthropic gesture.
To start mentioning the philanthropic acts or deeds of Saranda is like blowing his trumpet which he doesn’t like doing because of his humility.
Saranda believes that God has blessed him to bless others and whatever he has done to help anyone is just a way of appreciating God for His blessings upon his life and his family.

According to close associate of Saranda, he has spent over N20million on the distribution of relief materials and also cash donations to people to alleviate the hardships of the lockdown on them.
He said, Saranda is not stopping, he is prepared to ensure that people are comfortable during this period of lockdown as a result of the outbreak of Coronavirus.
He said, “Saranda believes that he is in the capacity to contribute his own quota in making life comfortable for the people and that is why he is committed to helping the people and one good thing about this is that he is not making noise about it unlike other people.”
