Tola Banjo has congratulated the governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke and the people of the state over the judgment delivered by the Supreme court affirming the victory of Ademola Adeleke as the validly elected governor in the July 16, 2022 governorship Elections describing it as a victory for d
Democracy and the people.
In a congratulatory message, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo noted that the judgement is a reflection that the will of the people will always prevail over that of minority few and thus strengthen the confidence repose in the Nation’s judicial system.
He further commended the judiciary for sustaining the hope of Osun people who are yearning for liberation and good governance adding that the judiciary with this development has further given much impetus to the “light has come” mantra of governor Ademola Adeleke campaign.
While basking in the euphoria of victory, he expressed confidence that the elections petition tribunal hearing similar issues arising from the last gubernatorial elections in Ogun State will tow the path of justice by restoring the mandate validly given to Ladi Adebutu during the march 18 guber poll.
” We have done in Osun, Imole has finally come, Ogun People be rest assured, we will do it here and reclaim the stolen Mandate, Itura n bo” he said.
