Ondo APC Women Promise 95% Votes for Tinubu in 2027 Election
Women leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State have declared their commitment to mobilising overwhelming support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, expressing confidence that the
party will secure at least 95 percent of the votes in the state.
The declaration was made during a solidarity meeting of the Women Wing of the Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) held in Akure, where representatives from all 18 local government areas gathered to reaffirm their support for the President and the APC.
Speaking on behalf of the women, former Ondo State Commissioner Yetunde Adeyanju commended President Tinubu and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC for what she described as a fair and transparent handling of the party’s National Assembly candidates’ list. She said the process had renewed the confidence of women and grassroots members in the party and strengthened their resolve to work for its success in future elections.
Adeyanju disclosed that the women’s wing had already commenced grassroots mobilisation across all 18 local government areas, with plans to intensify voter engagement ahead of the 2027 general election.
She expressed optimism that the APC would record a resounding victory in Ondo State, insisting that the women were fully prepared to deliver no fewer than 95 percent of the state’s votes for President Tinubu.
The group also praised the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, describing him as a unifying figure whose leadership has continued to promote harmony, inclusiveness and cohesion within the APC in Ondo State. Members said his political leadership has strengthened the party and encouraged greater participation among stakeholders across the state.
Director-General of the Asiwaju Mandate Group, Olumuyiwa Asagunla, commended the women for their dedication and urged them to sustain their grassroots mobilisation efforts. He encouraged them to remain united while promoting the achievements of the Tinubu administration and strengthening APC structures at the ward and local government levels in preparation for the 2027 polls.
