Olumide Aderinokun’s Victory : Massive victory for people of Ogun Central, PDP – O’kenny
The House of Assembly candidate of People’s Democratic Party, PDP for Odeda State Constituency, Hon Kehinde Odewunmi popularly known as O’kenny has congratulated the Ogun Central Senatorial District Candidate on the platform of the party in the 2023 general, Olumide Aderinokun over Thursday’s ruling by the Federal High court sitting in Abeokuta affirming his Candidacy ahead of the general elections.
Justice O. O Oguntoyinbo had struck out the case filed by one Dada Kolawole Oduntan against Ogun Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, Chief Olumide Aderinokun, praying to the court to recognize the appellant as the valid winner of the last primaries.
In its judgement, the court concluded that Chief Olumide Aderinokun has no case to answer, thereby struck out the suit.
In his congratulatory message , Hon . O’kenny describes the judgement as a massive victory for the Ogun state PDP and the entire people of Ogun Central Senatorial district.
“The victory was expected. The people of Ogun Central Senatorial District of the PDP freely gave Olumide Aderinokun the mandate to deliver prosperity to all, including members of the opposition. That is why I am calling on a aggrieved members to join hands with the candidate and Hon Ladi Adebutu for the benefit of all,” O’kenny said.
He noted that Olumide Aderinokun has always been magnanimous in victory, assuring that every part of the Ogun Central State will experience massive development, calling on all to continue support the PDP.
“As for the situation as regards the last week rulling of the Federal High court nullifying all PDP candidates in the state, I urge you not to lose hope in our quest for a better Ogun State. This is the time to come together and make sure that all our shortcomings are corrected for our good and the good of all the People.” he posited.
