Oludare Mayowa plans big for father’s burial
Canadian based business mogul and socialite, Oludare Mayowa is leaving no stone unturned to give his late father a befitting burial.
Oludare and his siblings are putting everything together to host the most extravagant and lavishing burial ceremony in the history of Nigeria.
Known for his taste for high class and grandeur, Oludare has lined up interesting activities for the one-week long burial ceremony.
Oludare lost his father over a month ago and he had since been buried but the burial ceremony is yet to hold due to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.
The automobile business man is one of the biggest boys in Nigeria and he has planned to bury his father with pomp and pageantry.
Although, Oludare was in faraway Canada when his father died, but his friends like Chief Wale Adesina, popularly known as Wale Zaranda and others rallied round the family to give Oludare’s father a befitting burial.
His father was buried 41 days after he died and Oludare ensured that his beloved dad got a befitting burial even amid Coronavirus pandemic.
Oludare did not disappoint his late father, he slashed a whooping some of N2 million in building the tomb of his father which was constructed with marble.
Speaking to Nigeriastandardng about his late father, Oludare said, “my father made me who I am today and I believe nothing is too small to honour him.”
“My father was a very discipline father who believed in getting goals he pushed me and my siblings into achieving greatness in life. Me and my siblings are blessed to have such a wonderful and caring father.”
“All my siblings are well to do and they are all excelling in their chosen careers. Such a caring and loving father who gave his children the best of everything should not be buried shabbily, he should be given a befitting burial.”
“But because we have to obey and fulfill our father’s last wish, that is why we have to bury him according to his wish. The family decided to postpone the burial ceremony till after the end of the Coronavirus pandemic. The date for the ceremony will be announced by the family later,” Oludare said.
Oludare’s friends both home and abroad have started showing their support to him to give his father the befitting burial he deserves.
The most interesting part is that Oludare is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the burial ceremony is the most elegant and most talk about in the country.
The ceremony, Nigeriastandardng gathered, will be a week long. He has concluded plans to feature three top Nigerian musicians that will be entertaining and thrilling guests, family and friends to sweet melodious music.
Mayowa is a lover of fun and good music he has a taste for high class. Many of these popular Nigerian musicians are his close friends and any time they are performing, Mayowa does not hesitate to lavish them with both local and foreign currencies.
