A chairmanship Aspirant, Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun State, Hon. Adesina has felicitated with muslim faithful as they celebrate Sallah today.
Adeshina’s felicitation was conveyed in a statement signed by him on Thursday in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The aspirant who is popularly known as MOTUN urged the Muslim faithful to use the opportunity of the period to pray fervently to end covid-19 pandemic in the state.
He appreciated the Muslims for supporting the State Government in fighting Covid-19 pandemic.
The philanthropist also urged them to obey State Government’s directive by celebrating the Eid-el-Kabir at home.
He added that this year’s celebration was coming at a time when the world was plagued by coronavirus pandemic, saying that the deadly disease has come and will surely go.
The chairmanship aspirant also called on the residents of Ogun state to continue supporting the state government towards fighting covid-19 pandemic in the state.
”I want to appreciate the muslims for being patient with our amiable Governor. We should all believe that the law to celebrate at home is for our own benefit to be prevented from the pandemic. I want to urge us to comply with the state government as we celebrate Sallah today”.
