The Peoples Democratic Party candidate, PDP,  Godwin Obaseki has been declared the winner of the Edo Governorship election which held on Saturday.

He beat the governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC, Ize-Iyamu with 307,955 votes while Ize-Iyamu has 223,619 votes.
