Mohbad: Give space for thorough investigations, FPRO warns Bloggers, Celebrities

As investigations continue to unravel the cause of death of the Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba also known as Mohbad, the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has warned bloggers and celebrities to refrain from interfering with the process.

Adejobi was disclosed in a post via his X (formerly twitter) handle on Friday, advised bloggers and celebs to desist from using Mohbads’ death to cruise or mobilize followers to their social media handles.

According to the police public relations officer, “Anyone who makes comments (affirmatively) on the issue might be invited by the police or any security agency to corroborate or testify in the case. You’d better be careful and allow the law to take its course. The law is wide and complex and could, at the same time, be flexible. Be warned.

“From our end, we are working on the info we have, and you can as well assist. We dont mind. I think lawyers and interested groups and firms should be educating Nigerians, especially this newest generation on our legal provisions. Its becoming worrisome as many of them are not familiar with our laws.

Meanwhile, the remains of Ilerioluwa Aloba has been deposited at the mortuary following the completion of the autopsy by pathologists at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH. .

This was confirmed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Friday.
