As the race to the 2023 general elections in Nigeria gathers momentum, the Nation’s political landscape where critical issues of governance and driving growth and appreciable level of development with sound political philosophy are been discussed at every quarters.
As defined in a revised Oxford Dictionary ‘’Politics is the struggle for power.’’ during a political science lecture, a curious student asked his professor, why do people struggle for power ? as an authority, the scholar respond thus “that it was for the distribution of scarce resources”.
Placing much and extreme emphasis on evenly distribution of limited resources to better the lots of the people, as Nigeria approaches the 2023 general elections, the electorates should be mindful of choosing only people that would cater to their welfare when they are elected into office or in power, Otherwise the distribution of the said scare resources would be done in such an inefficient manner that the people would be at the receiving end of the leaders.
One of such personalities capable of not betraying the trust of the people is a Man described by many as the Man for the Masses Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde popularly known as O’Kenny who intends to represent the people of Odeda State Constituency in the Ogun state House of Assembly in the 2023 general elections.
O’Kenny, a vibrant young man with the heart of gold, personified and endeared himself into the heart of his people through numerous philanthropy gestures and has facilitated countless developmental projects with his influence even as he has never hold a position of Authority and has been adjudged to be the best among his peers vying to represent the state Constituency at the Oke Mosan Assembly chamber.
Being a tested and trusted politician, who has delivered in previous assignments given to him by members of his constituency and his political party, people’s Democratic Party, PDP, O’Kenny having contested for the office before in 2011 is once again seeking the support of his people as he strive to bring to them quality and qualitative representation from the State Assembly in the forthcoming general elections.
Fully Prepared to change the narratives, O’Kenny is better equipped to write a new chapter of prosperity and accomplish greater things for his people, ready to inspire confidence in the youths and demonstrate to the world that the people of Odeda State Constituency are able to charter a new path of unity and togetherness which will give birth to growth and accelerated development.

As 2023 general elections draws nearer, the people of Odeda local government area needs to take a stance and re-write history as O’Kenny is not ready to relive history.
