A Senior Special Adviser to the National Youth Leader of the rulling All Progressives Congress,APC, Hon. Ismail Adeniyi,has congratulated,him and other members of the party’s youth wing over the successful inauguration of its campaign council.
The event, which took place earlier today in Kaduna state at the Umaru Musa Yaradua Hall, saw the National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel, formally inaugurate the Wing’s novel campaign council and its various directorates include the Jagaban’s Army, Asiwaju’s Airforce, and BAT’s Envoy.
He also flagged off special campaign programs designed to mobilize youth votes, such as the ‘Deliver Your Street’ campaign which will kick off on Saturday, January 21.
Hon. Ismail Adeniyi praised the National Youth Leader on what he described as a bold and innovative step. He claimed that the move, first of its kind in the party’s history, has energized and united the party’s youth wing behind its declared goal to secure the triumph of its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at the polls next month.
According to him, the event marked a major shift in electioneering in Nigeria, as it was the first time an elected youth leader offered a clear vision to young members of the party with smart initiatives created to leverage the diverse talent pool of the party’s Youth Wing.
Ismail, who is one of the leaders of Asiwaju’s Airforce, the directorate responsible for media engagements, expressed confidence of a comprehensive victory for the party based on Israel’s capable leadership and demonstrated ingenuity.
