Earlier in June 2025, during the Eid-el-Kabir (Salah) celebration, Hon. Talabi reached out to over 2,000 residents across Ogun West, Central, and East senatorial districts, distributing food items—particularly bags of rice—to households as a form of festive support. The initiative was aimed at cushioning the effects of economic challenges and ensuring that families, especially the less privileged, could celebrate in joy and dignity.
Speaking during the outreach, Hon. Talabi emphasized that true leadership goes beyond political office. “Service is about love, compassion, and giving back to the people who made us who we are,” she said, noting that her drive stems from a lifelong belief that “a prosperous Southwest means a stronger Nigeria.”
A New Dawn in Education: Computers for the Next Generation
Continuing her passion for human capital development, Hon. Olamide Davies Talabi took her humanitarian stride a step further on October 21, 2025, when she visited Ogun International Montessori School, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, to donate modern computer systems to enhance digital literacy among students.
The event, attended by excited pupils, teachers, and community leaders, marked a new milestone in her long-term commitment to improving the quality of education in Ogun State. The computers are expected to strengthen classroom learning, expose students to essential digital skills, and prepare them for a fast-evolving global economy.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Talabi noted that “education remains the most powerful tool for development. By empowering our children with technology, we are investing in the leaders of tomorrow.” She also encouraged other public figures and private organizations to support local schools in bridging the technological gap.

The Olamide Davies Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Hon. Talabi, continues to serve as the backbone of her philanthropic initiatives.
