Gov. Dapo Abiodun appoints Ogun ex-lawmaker “Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo” commissioner for Culture and Tourism


A former member of the Ogun State House of Assembly and immediate past Special adviser to Ogun state governor on Women Affairs, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo has been appointed as the Hon. Commissioner for Culture and Tourism by governor Dapo Abiodun.
At the swearing-in ceremony held at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta for Hon. Adijat and seven others, the governor charged them to always be conscious of the fact that the responsibility of taking the state to an unprecedented height now rest on their shoulders.
He further admonished them to be accountable to the people, and ensure that they remain connected to them as worthy ambassadors of the present administration’s policy of inclusiveness.
The governor noted that the new appointees should also efficiently integrate their visions into the present administration’s approaches to governance and focus on the pillars of ISEYA, adding that their various actions should help the state to blossom.
Appreciating the governor, the confidence repose in her, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo said it is a call to serve her people just as she has been doing for many years and would not relent now that another cap has been added to her feather by the state governor and the people of Ogun state.
She appreciated the governor for counting her worthy with a promised to contribute her qouta to the state’s socio-economic development.
Others sworn-in are are Oludotun Taiwo ( Forestry) Ganiyu Hamzat (Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs); Mr. Oladimeji Oresanya ( Environment); Mrs. Olufemi Ilori Oduntan (Special Duties and Inter -Governmental Affairs); Hon. Abayomi Hunye ( Community Development and Cooperatives) and Mr. Jamiu Odetoogun (Rural Development), while the former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr Oluwatoyin Taiwo is the new Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor.
