GNI Commiserates With Family Of Late Ade Enitan who died of Covid-19 in UK.
The  All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain in Ogun state, Prince Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka has commiserated with the family of late Ade Enitan who died of covid-19 in United Kingdom.
He described late Adekunle’s death as a big loss and bitter pill to take.
Isiaka recalled his last conversation with him on March 22nd, via popular chat app, WhatsApp, only to learn of his death about a month later.
According to him, the deceased would be remembered as a very passionate, caring supporter from Ogun west senatorial district, whose “love for birth place was profound.”
“Ade Enitan, in our WhatsApp chat on 22nd March, you did describe the situation in the frontline of the epidemic war in UK as “scary”, but you were confident that with God on your side and “the resources and protectives which are adequately provided, everything should be fine. Unfortunately, fate decided otherwise. You fell to the wicked hand of the deadly virus barely a month after.”
“Doc, as I fondly call you, our path crossed effectively about five years ago. Within this brief period, you gave our political struggle all that you had. You were passionate, a team player, a caring supporter with lots of love for birth place.
“Despite being in United Kindgom, you were monitoring, directing, supporting, pushing and frequently making yourself available particularly in the last days of the  election. The outcome of the election notwithstanding, you never lost faith. You were a brother indeed.” he said.
Isiaka however prayed to God gives the family of the late Adekunle the fortitude to bear the “major loss.”
He said “We will surely miss you, but we take solace in the fact that you came, impacted and left an indelible mark. We are also comforted by the words of the great author, Stephen King in The Dark Tower VII that,” You needn’t die happy when your time comes, but you must die satisfied, for you have lived your life from the beginning to the end”.
“We are convinced you left satisfied having died in the course of your chosen profession of saving peoples lives. My sympathies go to the immediate family particularly wife and children, the Kabiyesi and people of  Yewaland, particularly Ayetoro your birthplace  and members of the Yewa Development Union, UK & Ireland. On behalf of my family and associates, I pray that God give us all  the fortitude to bear this major loss.”
The remains of Adekunle Enitan were interred at the Merton and Sutton Cemetery, UK, after a virtual funeral service at the Living Water Parish.
Adekunle Enitan, 55, died on April 24 after testing positive for Covid-19.
Until his death, he was an intensive care Nurse at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, United Kingdom.

Friends, family members and relatives from the United Kingdom, Nigeria and other parts of the world paid their last respects to the deceased via video chat app, Zoom.
