The ex-lawmaker in a congratulatory message to faithful admonished all to reflects in their lives the lessons associated with the symbolic occasion.
Rt. Hon Tola Banjo noted that Nigeria as a Nation has experienced a much-needed rebirth during the Lenten season. Therefore, on this solemn occasion, there is need for all to rededicate their lives to the noble ideals of love, peace and forgiveness; and strengthen the bonds of friendship, brotherhood and unity amongst the diverse peoples of the Nation.
” As we celebrate Easter, it is pertinent for leaders and citizens at all levels to sustain peace, progress and national unity of the country, I encouraged all to imbibe the spirit of the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ for a better and more prosperous Nation”. he said.
