About “Akobi Olorun Eledumare” new lifestyle
Reverend Mother Snr. Prophetess Opeyemi Ajoke Sobogun Adeniyi, popularly known as Akobi Olorun Eledumare needs no introduction. Adeniji is the spiritual leader of the fast growing Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church in the United Kingdom.
The cleric spoke with Nigeria Standard recently where she unveiled her plan for year 2020.
She spoke on a range of topics covering spiritual, personal and other sundry issues.
Part of her discussion with Nigeria Standard was her resolutions and expectations for the year.
Adeniji disclosed that she would be focusing her strength more on her ministry and her home (family).
Her words, “I am quitting toxic friendships. I won’t give room for any close relationship in order to avoid being distracted from my calling and my ministry because it is one of the tactics the devil uses to get ministers of God.”
Adeniji has this for her enemies, “This year will also be a destruction and tough year for those that are against my calling (ministry), against my life, kids and my marriage (happiness) as a woman of God and this is a promise from my Father in heaven.”
Speaking on her physical fitness, Adeniji said, “I am going back to the gym, reducing the quantity of my meals, vitamins and drinking more of water to get fit for my evangelism and I will also do more of travelling.”
The spiritual leader said she hope to meet good people who would contribute to the development of her ministry, saying, “Meeting people at the top that will help lift and support my ministry is also my big priority because of my church project and my charity.”
“Meeting big and intelligent ministers with the fear of God in my ministry will also help me with more wisdom to improve in my ministry and I will make sure I hold on to them for life. It will help me with more opportunities, networking, more knowledge, enlightenment and can help my career in a very big way, it can be beneficial to my mental well-being. I am determined to overcome my shyness in other to explore to greater heights.”
Adeniji also disclosed that she wished to cultivate good habits such as good manners, saying, “Good manners have always been an important part of my life. It makes it easier to connect with people, avoid offending people and will ensure that others perceive me as a good and trustworthy person. So I must know the etiquette, be prepared or other manners in others, I will deal with rude people in the right way and learn how to say no, especially now that my ministry is growing bigger so I will and must make it my habit throughout my life time on earth.”
She added, “I will be more confident (self confidence) and develop an extremely thick skin so I won’t feel any stone throw at me to bring me down in any way or manner.”
How how to keep a healthy life style, Adeniji said, “I won’t let anyone or anything whatsoever stress me or my life. I will make sure I take things easy and allow God fight all my battles Himself.
“The only way I can and that I will be happy with my life is by not trying to be other people or be jealous of others’ achievements in anyway. I will forever appreciate thank God for anything that he brings my way and also be contended with what I have. I will also continue to be happy for others achievement. I should be gunning for at least 8 hours of sleep a night to be more healthy and strong.”
The spiritual leader also maintained that she would be building her knowledge by reading a lot of books during the year, arguing that, “Books are an excellent way to gain a lot of knowledge on a huge variety of topics, and are also a great exercise for my brain. I will study more this year,beyond and make it my habit forever also go to school for to boost my ministry.”
According to her, “There is just too little time in this life for me to waste it on insincere, duplicitous and toxic people. I will focus on the people who we care about me deeply and who care about the growth of my ministry as this is the best way to stay happy.”
She emphasised that fasting and praying are the only ways Christians can fight and win the battle of life and with this she said, “My three days weekly fasting and praying continued and it will be forever in Jesus name. I will also welcome people that need spiritual help and charity more and help them out of their problems with the help of God almighty.
