A Non governmental Organisation known as” Save Her Foundation’ owned by Reverend Fola Achudume of victory Life Bible Church will on Saturday organise campaign against rape.
This was disclosed in release made available to newsmen by the convener in Abeokuta on Friday.
According to the statement, the campaign will be live stream on Facebook at ‘saveherfoundation.com’ by noon
The facilitators for the campaign are the Ogun state commissioner for women affairs, Mrs Funmi Efuwape, the Ogun State’s President, All Nigeria Confederation of
Principals of secondary schools, ANCOPSS, Dr.A.O.Womiloju, and the acting secretary, West African Law and Religious Society, Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, as well as the General Overseer of victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume.
Mrs Achudume who is so passionate about issues relating to the girl-child, submitted that the body of every female is sacred and should not be turned to a war zone through abuse, molestation and rape.
She reiterated that all hands must be on deck against rape, saying that rape should not be swept under the carpet.
Mrs Achudume saw the need for women and every girl child to be guaranteed security and safety.
