Tinubu Vows Total Defeat of Terrorists, Bandits as Security Forces Intensify Operations Nationwide

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to defeating terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and other forms of violent crimes across Nigeria, declaring that the country will never surrender to criminal elements threatening national peace and stability.
The President made the declaration while addressing concerns over the recent wave of insecurity in parts of the country, assuring Nigerians that security agencies have been directed to intensify operations against terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and other criminal groups.
Tinubu emphasized that his government remains resolute in its determination to protect lives and property, stressing that ongoing military and intelligence-led operations are already yielding significant results in several troubled regions.
According to him, the Federal Government is deploying every available resource to ensure that communities under threat are secured and that citizens held captive by criminal gangs regain their freedom.
The President noted that the fight against insecurity remains one of the top priorities of his administration, adding that security forces have been empowered with improved intelligence, logistics, and operational support to confront emerging threats across the country.
He assured Nigerians that the government would not relent until terrorist networks, bandit camps, and kidnapping syndicates are dismantled and their activities permanently disrupted.
Tinubu also commended members of the Armed Forces, intelligence agencies, police, and other security personnel for their sacrifices in defending the nation, urging them to remain steadfast in the discharge of their duties.
The President called on citizens to support security agencies by providing credible information that could aid ongoing operations, stressing that national security requires collective responsibility.
He reiterated that Nigeria remains stronger than those seeking to destabilize the country and expressed confidence that ongoing security measures would restore lasting peace to affected communities.
The renewed commitment comes amid intensified military offensives in several parts of the country, as the government seeks to curb terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and other security challenges affecting national development.
