Eid-el-Kabir: Tinubu Assures Nigerians of Better Future, Calls for Unity
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that brighter days lie ahead despite the country’s current economic and security challenges, urging citizens to remain united and hopeful as Muslims celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival.
In his Sallah message to Nigerians, the President called on citizens to embrace the values of sacrifice, compassion, tolerance, and patriotism which the Islamic celebration represents. He stressed that national unity and collective commitment are essential to overcoming the nation’s difficulties and achieving lasting progress.
Tinubu acknowledged the economic hardship being experienced by many Nigerians but maintained that the ongoing reforms by his administration are designed to rebuild the economy, strengthen institutions, and create sustainable opportunities for citizens.
The President said the period of Eid-el-Kabir should serve as a reminder of faith, obedience, and selflessness, encouraging Nigerians to support one another and pray for peace, stability, and national development.
He also urged political leaders, religious groups, and community stakeholders to promote harmony and avoid actions capable of dividing the country along ethnic, religious, or political lines.
Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving security, boosting the economy, creating jobs, and enhancing the welfare of Nigerians. According to him, the government remains focused on delivering policies that will produce long-term benefits for the nation.
The President further congratulated Muslims across Nigeria and around the world for witnessing another Eid-el-Kabir celebration, praying for peace, prosperity, and divine blessings upon the country.
