Princess Kikelomo Ikuomola to Host South-West Stakeholders on GEEP 3.0 FarmerMoni Loan Programme in Ondo
The high-level engagement is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Bliss World Conference Hall in Akure. The event will focus on expanding awareness and improving access to the Federal Government’s Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP 3.0), particularly the FarmerMoni scheme designed to support farmers and small-scale entrepreneurs.
The programme is expected to attract key players within the social investment ecosystem, including representatives of the National Social Investment Programme Agency, development partners, grassroots mobilisers, and prospective beneficiaries.
According to Ikuomola, the sensitisation initiative is aimed at bridging information gaps, empowering participants with the necessary knowledge, and promoting inclusivity in accessing government intervention programmes.
She noted that the FarmerMoni scheme under GEEP 3.0 provides a vital opportunity for farmers and small business owners to access financial support, particularly during critical farming seasons. This, she said, will help boost agricultural productivity and strengthen local economies across the region.
Ikuomola also reaffirmed the commitment of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to driving economic empowerment and reducing poverty through targeted, people-focused initiatives.
The engagement is expected to serve as a platform for stakeholder collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mobilisation of eligible beneficiaries, ultimately enhancing the impact of the GEEP 3.0 FarmerMoni Loan Programme across the South-West.
