The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of its 91st Regular Recruit Intake (91RRI), inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for enlistment into the force.
The recruitment exercise is open to young Nigerians interested in building a career as soldiers, with opportunities available for both tradesmen and non-tradesmen.
Applicants are required to be Nigerian citizens by birth and must meet specific physical, medical, and educational requirements. Candidates are expected to possess at least a secondary school certificate and be mentally and physically fit for military service.
The application process will be conducted online through the Army’s official recruitment portal, where interested individuals are expected to complete and submit their applications within the given timeframe.
Authorities emphasized that the recruitment exercise is completely free of charge and warned applicants to be cautious of fraudsters who may attempt to exploit them.
Shortlisted candidates will undergo screening exercises, including physical fitness tests, medical examinations, and verification of credentials before final selection.
Successful candidates will proceed to training, where they will undergo rigorous military instruction in preparation for service.
The Army advised applicants to follow all instructions carefully and ensure that accurate information is provided during registration to avoid disqualification.
