KWARA TAMPPAN Women Honour Sheikh Abdul Raheem Aduanigba, Chief Imam of Yorubaland and Africa Muslim Leader
The Kwara State chapter of the Theatre and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPPAN) Women’s Wing has honoured Sheikh Abdul Raheem Aduanigba, also known as Aduanigba, the Chief Imam of Yorubaland in Nigeria and Africa Muslim Leader, in recognition of his immense contributions to humanity, moral guidance, and social development.
The prestigious award, presented on Friday, October 18, 2025, acknowledges Sheikh Aduanigba’s tireless efforts in promoting peace, unity, and religious harmony across Yorubaland, Nigeria, and the African continent.
In her remarks during the presentation, the Chairperson of the TAMPPAN Women’s Wing praised Sheikh Aduanigba as “a beacon of wisdom and a true servant of God whose leadership continues to foster love, tolerance, and understanding among people of different faiths and backgrounds.”
Receiving the merit recognition, Sheikh Abdul Raheem Aduanigba expressed deep appreciation to the association for the honour, dedicating the award to Almighty Allah and to all individuals committed to building a peaceful and progressive society.
He reaffirmed his mission to continue working for the unity of Muslims and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, emphasizing that religious leaders must lead by example through service, humility, and compassion.
The event attracted dignitaries from across the state, including Islamic scholars, traditional rulers, public figures, and members of the entertainment industry, who all lauded the Chief Imam of Yorubaland and Africa Muslim Leader for his exceptional leadership and humanitarian service.
