Elite league of extra ordinary gentlemen “ELXG” inducts London based members


The leadership of an Abuja based social and humanitarian club, Elite league of Extra ordinary gentlemen “ELXG” in the past week inaugurated the London branch of its association to further spread the gospel of humanitarian services and social development beyond the shores of Nigeria across the United Kingdom.
The team led by the President of the club, Segun Akinyemi and chairman, Board of trustees, Lukas Durojaiye were in London to further exemplified the need to ensure that it spread it activities globally and keep all members under one fold defined by unity of purpose, love, mutual respect and assistance towards members personal and collective growth.
The Nigeria Standard had reported that the new set of executive members that would pilot the affairs of the Abuja based social club for the next year’s emerged through a virtual election over few weeks ago.
While commenting on the successes of the club so far and the reasons behind their London trip, the President, Segun Akinyemi Said it is imperative for all to be active in humanitarian services adding that it is a move to encourage each members to seek out their own role and way to get involved, and then pursue it with passion and enthusiasm with the hope to keep the club vibrant and active in their various communities so as to create a better and more friendly society.
He further reiterated the Committement of his leadership to inaugurate chapters for other countries as well in no distance time noted that the task of building a friendly society does not requires dipping hands into the pocket and give token but to create a sustainable projects that helps transform people’s life which is what the club stands for.
On his part, the BOT chairman, Lukas Durojaiye enjoined the new members to continue to raise the flag of the club higher wherever they go and as well spread the gospel of being one’s brother’s keeper.
