2027 : Pat Utomi is a serial promoter of mega parties that never materialize – APC reacts to opposition coalition
The All Progressives Congress, APC said the notion that a strong coalition is building up to unseat President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 polls is a fallacy from a Man not well grounded in the art of politics.
Dismissing the statement credited to former presidential Spokesperson, Professor Pat Utomi, the party said Utomi‘s proposal for the formation of a mega party by the three major opposition parties against the governing party in 2027 is a mere wishful thinking.
The professor of political economy and management expert had, on a national television, said the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) had agreed to form a mega party to unseat the ruling APC in 2027.
In a statement while reacting to the proposal yesterday in Abuja, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka said Utomi should not be taken seriously.
He argued that the former presidential adviser had been a serial promoter of mega parties that never materialised.
