Yari: Tinubu Means Business, Killers in Benue Will Be Hunted Down
President Tinubu Won’t Spare Benue Killers – Senator Yari Vows

Senator Abdul-Aziz Abubakar Yari has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not a man of empty threats, assuring Nigerians that the masterminds of the recent Yelewata massacre in Benue State will face justice.
Speaking to newsmen, Yari, who chairs the Senate Committee on Water Resources, condemned the attack as “gruesome murder of innocent citizens” and urged Nigerians to unite in the fight against rising insecurity.
He praised Tinubu’s swift visit to Benue in the wake of the killings, describing it as a show of “hands-on, empathetic leadership.” According to Yari, the President’s personal presence instead of sending a delegation signals how seriously he takes the situation.
“The President knows what’s at stake and is ready to use all necessary force to restore peace. He won’t tolerate this madness. Those behind it will be caught — no hiding place,” Yari warned.
The former Zamfara governor called on all Nigerians to be vigilant and work with security agencies. “Everyone must be an intelligence agent. Report what you see. Security is a shared duty,” he said.
Yari also offered condolences to the victims and families in Benue, praying for the recovery of the injured and divine comfort for the bereaved.
“This madness must stop — and under Tinubu’s leadership, it will,” he concluded.
