It is no longer news that Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde has declared his intentions to run for a seat at the Ogun state state House of Assembly in the forthcoming general elections with the aim of representing his dear constituency, Odeda state constituency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
But the question on the lips of many as the momentum for the party’s primaries gathered at every inch is why O’Kenny?
The answer or let me say the answers goes thus
O’Kenny, a consummate, compassionate and vibrant politician no doubt has the pedigree, knowledge, political structure and the required Skill-set to propel the constituency to greatness if given the chance, he is loved and adore by all and he has over time described his ambition as one that is not built on “mere promises to do” but one that guarantees the continuity and expansion of an already established track-record of performance.
Called by his people to serve, O’Kenny considered the call on him to be a show of love but also proof that the people of Odeda local government area prioritize human and capital development of their areas.
Despite not being in Political office, he has never ignored the need to directly impact the microeconomic needs of his people and that is why he continued to commit personal resources to ensuring that he constantly support youths, market women, artisans and trade associations with grants, work tools and soft loans to boost their careers and businesses.
For a greater and better Odeda, O’Kenny is Okay!!!
