His sojourn into Ogun State politics some couple of years ago was borne out of his desire and passion to assist the downtrodden, most especially people of his homestead, Ijebu-Ode and environs.

As Deputy Speaker, Ogun state House of Assembly between the year 2011 to 2015, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo inculcated strategies to improve the standard of living of members of his constituency and as well facilitated countless developmental projects to his area and not loosing the sight of the need to develop human capital with several tools of trade, ICT training for youths as well as empowerment opportunities, not to mention financial reimbursement for Small and medium scale business in Ifo local government area.

Having threw his hat into the ring to contest for the House of representatives to represent the good people of Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu and Ijebu North East Federal constituency in the forthcoming general elections, Tola Banjo as showcased the fact that he is Man of character, seasoned administrator and experienced in various spheres of life with over 30 years of experience in public administration.

A proactive politician and proven problem solver.

His Ultimate plan is to move to the Federal House of Representatives in 2023 to better the lots of his constituency.

Rt.Hon. Tola Banjo promised to touch all aspects of life including agriculture, women and youth empowerment, infrastructure development, security, education and sports development amongst several others too numerous to mention, but are in his blueprint.
